You are forgiven Hil, and will not be beaten as it is gone. But, while there is some relevance to Job superficially, I think perhaps ascribing it all to some sort of super santa clause on steroids is just silly. (Especially that specific, kill your kids sort of story.) Rather I prefer, a more balance in all things approach (I disagree with entropy and disorder theorists here, the Universe seeks balance, harmony not disorder, duh--silly physicists). A sort of Derridian killed so that you might live, Christlike give up material possessions so that you might gain more important immaterial happinesses. Yada yada…
